sooo....sorry haven't uploaded anything for a while. I have been drawing though! did about three new drawings and a watercolor! so we had today off for christopher columbus day. (which was really nice but I've been wondering does anyone do anything on Columbus day?) so this weekend I had a friend over for most of the time and we went shopping, to her Youth group, and then today went to Jerusalem cafe.

okay this place deserves it's own paragraph. I mean JEEZ this is the greatest restaurant to ever grace the earth. or at least the greatest I've ever been. Although Milano's comes in pretty close because Mediterranean and Italian are so different. anyways it's this little Mediterranean cafe that is...like...SDNGORENAOI I'm so mad I can't find a great enough adjective! so I had something called Gyros which is this style in which they cook the meat (the classic one is beef and lamb which is what I got but you can get chicken or turkey) and then the meat goes over this fluffy delicious pita type bread thing with sauteed onions and squash. the whole thing has this delicious seasoning over it and it comes with fried potatoes and salad, with good seasoning and dressing respectively. My friend got turkey Gyros and my mom got these delicious things called Dolmas which I don't feel like describing and you can wiki if you're really that interested xD (which I doubt lol) my dad got what I got but over hummus instead of a pita.

so then after all of that we chilled at home, did some homework, painted, then make angel food cupcakes and 8 yolk cupcakes. After she left I wrote my nine week exam essay. (which i should have allowed like the entire weekend to do xD) and here we are now.

so...this is like the most eventful weekend I've had in a long time. let's hear about your weekends, lovelies!

mmm...I wanna set up some art thingy. like a network of artists doing some type of art thing. like an art club...although technically dA is just a huge art club. D: anyways the point is I haven't been doing a lot of art lately and I feel really crappy and I've noticed I'm always happy when I'm active or involved in some type of art thingathing. so if anyone has any suggestions for a new....thing (for lack of better word xD) or if anyone knows of some existing...thing that I should do, tell me!

Okay so I feel like I need to put up a journal because I haven't in a long time. :/ Well first of all, school is very tough but lovely too. My high school is known for being incredibly hard but very redeeming when college seems easy afterward. And funnily enough, I get a really nice feeling from finishing my 74 pounds of homework. I guess since my elementary and middle school were always so easy for me, I never have felt such a sense of accomplishment. So my weekend has been about 80% homework, 15% working on a design(which I'll get to in a little bit) and 5% cleaning my room/looking at art. however I'm done with my homework so I have my whole sunday in front of me ^_^ this week I saw two very good movies. one was Densha Otoko (Train Man) which was really sweet and hilarious too. The second was Les Choriste, a french movie about a (you guessed it!) chorus. They were complete opposites but I enjoyed both immensely!! I'd recommend them to anyone.

Oh, the design. So anyways I'm working on a couple of designs for a contest to design one of the covers of those five star mead note books. I can't decide which I like so I'm having my family and a couple friends vote on them. I'd post them up here, but you can't have published your entry somewhere else according to the contest rules. But anyways if I make it into the finals there will be online voting so I'll keep you guys posted ^_^

Oh yeah, and I stole this feature thing from :iconzurui-chan: (whose art is really fun and you should look at)

Well I'm happy to say I've been working on something; not just watching one piece -_-; I just finished laying down the colors to [link] and I'm going to start doing the shading and stuff as soon as I finish this. I'm really excited about this picture because it's the first digital pic I've worked on for a long time and not gotten horribly bored with it.

In other news, my summer has been about the same except that the day before yesterday I went to the dentist, a pool party, and then my friend's house. I also went to the beach on Sunday and a crab bit me. ^3^ I dunno why, that phrase sounds kinda cute.. I'm sad though because our company is leaving tomorow...D:

uh...I'm not sure; everyone's their own person. the world they live in is kinda crazy/insane so there's not really a normal.

hmmm....a bit, I guess it depends on your tastes

he very rarely gets mad

nope! tage's very cheerful

hmm...you can't really organize him into categories. I guess sometimes he gets dragged into being a leader, but he's not all like, "alright gang, let's do this! I'm captain!"

I guess that he's always very cheerful and laughs a lot and sometimes is very goofy ^^

yes! he has a sister and a brother and his parents are both alive and together

nope, he's still young enough to live with his family.

hmm...not enough to be traumatizing, but some crazy things have happened to him that I won't reveal because I'm planning on telling the story some day
